4 ACTIVITIES TO DO IN KUTA BEACH BALI

Kuta is probably the most famous part of Bali and with good reason. Not only is it the home of the iconic Kuta Beach but it also has a swinging nightlife scene that keeps going into the wee small hours. The coastline here is covered in soft golden sand and the beachfront is flanked with a long promenade dotted with cafes and myriad restaurants. If you are looking for shopping then you will be spoiled for choice and you can enjoy local markets mixed with upscale shopping malls. There are fine dining options here aplenty as well as quaint local guesthouses and you can spent time walking around the little streets that bisect the area and taking in all the sights. See cute turtles at Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS) Bali Sea Turtle Society is a turtle hatchery based in Kuta that works to protect turtle eggs and then releases the hatched turtles back into the wild. You can join in the activity and watch as these cute little turtles take their first steps into the great ocean and this takes place after 4 pm from April to October which is turtle hatching season. The hatchery works to protect olive ridley turtles and if you pay a donation at your discretion then you can take your own turtle and help it to swim off into the sea. You can also learn more about the plight of turtles in Indonesia at the same time. Shop and Relax at the Discovery Shoppingmall?
Discovery Shopping Mall is one among the largest shopping malls in Bali and the second largest shopping hub in Kuta after the newer Kuta Beachwalk. It is located on one of Kuta’s main roads, the Jalan Kartika Plaza, and features a beachside location with an amphitheatre on the sands of Kuta Beach.
Discovery Shopping Mall’s are very close with The Waterbom Bali waterslide and walking distance from our hotel Bali Garden Beach Resort.

Surf and Ride the waves at Kuta Beach which is closed to Sandbar kuta One of the main reasons to come to Kuta Beach is for the opportunity to surf as this makes the perfect spot for beginners. The reason for this is that Kuta Beach lies on a soft sand bar as opposed to a spiky reef, so you will be able to learn to surf safe in the knowledge that you won’t get hurt on some jagged coral if you wipe out. You can rent a board here for the day and also take a surf lesson with one of the many instructors along the beach, although if you prefer something a little easier then you can also rent a body board and catch the waves that way. At the end of the day crowds flock here for the sunsets which are best enjoyed with a cold beer after at Sand Bar front of Maharani Beach Hotel. Drinking Cocktails at Boardwalk Restaurant, Kuta Enjoy sunset view while you in kuta and drinking cocktails at Boardwalk. The Boardwalk Beach Club at sunset becomes a cool spot to lounge on cushioned sofas and chill out on the front decks.
